Pork Mince & Veal Rissoles


  • 1/2 kilo Pork Mince
  • 1/2 kilo Veal Mince
  • 1 eggs
  • Plain flour
  • Bread Crumbs
  • 4 rashers thin slices of bacon diced finely
  • Salt
  • 4-6 cloves Minced Fresh Garlic
  • Parsley or chives chopped finely
  • 1 carrot chopped diced
  • Onion diced
  • Cumin Powder


  1. Serve with Mash Potato see below
  2. Method

  3. Place both minced meats into large mixing bowl make a hole in the middle
  4. Put a whole runny egg inside then mix thoroughly with hands until mince is soaked with the egg

  6. Fry diced onion and carrot then remove when cooked
  7. 3

  8. Add bacon diced, chopped chives or parsley and also the cooked carrot and onion to the minced meat mixture and mix till all ingredients are combined
  9. 4

  10. Add garlic and, salt and cumin powder to mixture
  11. 5

  12. Get 3 separate plates or ice cream containers
  13. In one place plain flour in the second 2 egg yolks beaten with a little milk added inside
  14. In the third place the breadcrumbs
  15. Cheese
