This is a yummy meal on it\'s own or served with a lovely fresh salad. My own recipe, one of those what\'s in the fridge meals that has become a favourite.
for 4 people Paster of choice cooked as normal
1 Brown Onion chopped
4 sticks Celery chopped
1 Leek chopped
2 slices Cherezo sausage cut in
200 grams Bacon pieces
4-6 slice Mushrooms
500 grams Punnet of light sour cream
1/2 165g jar or to taste Sun-dried pesto
2 tablespoons Olive oil app
No of Servings:
Cook paster and drain.
While paster is cooking, cut up all the vegetables ready for. Heat oil in large deep pan and begin with onions, leeks, celery and mushrooms fry till soft, reserve in dish. Add extra oil to pan if needed and fry sausage and bacon till browned, return veg to pan and add sour cream and pesto mix well and allow to cook for a minute or two. add drained paster and mix.
Serve as is or with a fresh salad.
You can add garlic to the first frying stage and any other vegetables you like. I often add cauliflower and broccoli florets. You can also make this a vegetarian dish. Enjoy
