yummy lasagne for all the family. can be made as vegetarian, just omit the beef, or can be made with tuna instead of beef
1 teaspoon garlic minced
1 onion diced
1 tin diced tomatoes
3 tablespoons tomato puree
2 handfuls mushroom, chopped
1 zuccini, grated
2 carrot, grated
1 teaspoon sugar
350-500 grams minced beef
2 desertspoons flour
2 desertspoons margarine
400 millilitres skim milk
300 grams cheddar cheese+ parmesan cheese
1 packet ready made lasage sheets

pre heat oven to 190.c
in pan,soften onion and garlic in a little oil. add beef and brown in pan.add all vegetables and season to taste.
add the tomatoes and paste and sugar and lower heat to create a sweeter tomato sauce. (HINT!!! Can use bottled sauce, but still add sugar to take out bitterness)
in another saucepan melt margarine and then add flour, mixing to create a thick paste. then add milk slowly, stirring continuously to create bechamel sauce, finally add grated cheddar cheese to give lovely flavour.
oil lightly lasagne dish. spoon tomato sauce over bottom of dish in small layer. then cover with lasagne sheets. spoon more (last of) tomato sauce over next layer then spoon some bechamel over that layer. cover with lasagne sheets.
cover this layer with bechamel sauce and then sprinkle with cheeses. finally grate some nutmeg over all lasagne.
put in oven, uncovered, for 30-40 mins.
