warm chicken salad recipe needed - 2009/07/01 17:44 Hi...
I hope someone might be able to help me please.
I would really love a nice simple warm chicken salad recipe including the salad dressing that you make to have on this beautiful salad.
This recipe is often on the menue at most of the clubs and resturants, just nice and the basic...
I have looked for this recipe for so long now, hope it is not all in vain...smiles

I like my chicken salad basic and simple. Some use fresh lemon instead of vinegar and others use apples and celery. The most important ingredient is the mayonnaise, good Restaurants make their own. If that is too much trouble for you, then try Thomy delikatess mayonnaise, available at Coles and Woolworth.

Chicken Salad

Serves four.

Dressing
1/4 cup of chopped red onion
1 teaspoon mild English mustard
5 Tbsp Thomy delikatess mayonnaise
2 Tbsp white vinegar
1 Tbsp sunflower oil
2 Tbsp fresh parsley
Salt and pepper to taste

2-3 cups of cooked chicken meat, skin on, coarsely chopped
1/3 head of iceberg head lettuce, sliced and chopped


Prepare the salad dressing ingredients in a large bowl, then add the chicken and lettuce and mix well.
